Description : Mountains and river shrouded in the mist. In a room of a tea house, several people are enjoying the meal and the vast scenery. This print belongs to the rare, exquisitely made woodblock print series in Taisho era. Tessai Tomioka was a very influential Nanga painter in Meiji period. His works; bold, vigorous and free in style, have been imitated by many.
