Description : Maiko from a series of four maikos by Terashima Shimei. Original Japanese woodblock print circa 1961. Edition of 200 in left margin. Print measures 17.6 x 15.1 inches. Exceedingly nice details including gold and silver inks and deep embossing on inner kimono (see close-up photo c). Very nice bijin-ga printed by Adachi in 1961.
