Time Period - Early 20th Century Frame ? - Not Framed Art Medium - Watercolor Painting on paper Subject - Seascape with boats Style - Impressionist ‾ Impressionism Size - 19” x 13” Type - Original Watercolor Painting Condition - Water or moisture damage on the sides and some tearing in the same areas. The subjects and most of the center are in good condition except for one discoloration spot in the water. Please see all photos. Signed ? - Signed art Dominant colors / colors - Blue and White Possible Influence - John Sloan Listed? - Listed Study - Studied under John Sloan. Though rough around the edges, this is an amazing and unique watercolor seascape by listed early 20th century Japanese-American artist Torajiro Watanabe. Beautiful detail in the boats and water. One of the nicest watercolor seascapes I have ever seen. But, it does need some repair.
