Description From Nouet's most famous series, "Tokyo Fukei" (Scenery of Tokyo), "Hibiya". The Kumogata Pond surrounded by dense greens in Hibiya Park. Contrast to the dark middleground, the tall Hibiya Public Hall glimmers in the sunset on the background. The intricatly carved black lines for which Nouet's prints were known, were based on his detailed pen sketches.
