Description : Title Old City in Kudara (Paekche), Korea before W.W.II Artist Unichi Hiratsuka 1895-1997 Signature "Hiratsuka Unichi" stamped in Japanese on the right margin Seal Artist's seal (Un) Dated 1935 Medium/Technique Woodblock print Impression Carved and printed by the artist Colors excellent Condition very good … slight water stain on the upper area, slightly creased on the margins, slightly wavy on the left and right margins, a needle size hole on the upper margin corners, a light crease on the lower left corner. Description The Site of the Capital City of Ancient Paekche (Kudara in Japanese). This stark design of a lone survivor of the ancient culture and the vast sky was selected for the Hiratsuka Exhibition held by The Art Institute of Chicago in 1978 from Van Zelst Family Collection.
