Description : Mitate Sanjurokkasen Series: # 3 Artist: Kunisada & Gengyo Format: Oban tate-e: 14.25" x 10" Subject: New Year's Day. A young couple kneeling beside a water barrel. In the background a sill life of a tatched straw roof by Gengyo. Publisher: Iseya Kanekichi Date: 1856 Condition: Fine colors. Slightly trimmed. Glue residue along right edge on verso. Album binding holes and a small wormhole along left margin. A few thinned spots in right margin. Minor stains, soils, marks and flaws. Generally very good state of preservation. Impression: Fine impression with gauffrage.
