Description : This is one of Kaoru Kawano's (1916-1965) strongest compositions. It shows a young mother with a baby wrapped in her robe. The striking creamy white of the mother's face directs the design with elegant simplicity. The print is signed in pencil in the image below the figure and the artists stamp is to the right of the figure. The print measures 14 7/8" x 10".
