Description : This is a very unusual and lovely woodblock print which is mounted on a Christmas card. It is by and from the well known Japanese artist Toshi Yoshida (1911-1995) son of the also very famous artist Hiroshi Yoshida. I do not know if this was made specifically by the artist as a Christmas card, however, it is a genuine woodblock which has been afixed to the card. It is in very good condition as is the card. The card has just a bit of slight overall age toning, however, the print is fresh and bright. It would appear that the recipients were either customers or collectors. It is overall 5" X 7 1/4" and the woodblock is 3 3/4" X 5 3/4". The card is signed and the print has the artists seal.
