Description : “JAPANESE WOODBLOCK … YUKI NO MIYAJIMA …BY TSUCHIYA KOITSU .. 1936 … EXCELLENT CONDITION” - this is a 7” x 10” colorful woodblock on a 8” x11” piece of very nice paper … it has some bleedthrough to the back of the print - we were given the following print information ….. The Artist: Tsuchiya Koitsu, Publisher: Doi Teiichi, Carver: Ikeda, Title: Yuki No Miyajima (Snowy Miyajima), Date: January 1936 - it is in excellent condition with no holes, tears or rips and it has never been framed - there is Japanese printing above the red seal in the lower right corner on the dark portion of the woodblock … it does not photograph well, so I have tried to sketch it for you
