Description : This small book, Published by DOI HANGATEN, Tokyo, Japan describes and shows the process of Ukiyoe which was a wood-block type art popular with the common people in the Tokugawa era. This book shows the step-by-step process used by the artist Koitsu Tsuchiya. The book is of the fan-fold type. The book is in excellant condition in a very good but slightly worn box. Corners of box have been taped. Book in the box measures 6" x 4".
