Description : Sunday, 28 May 2006 Guaranteed original Japanese woodblock print by the shin hanga school artist Kawase Hasui. Series: Collection of scenic views of Japan, eastern Japan edition. Subject: Hall of the golden hue, Chuson temple, Hiraizumi. Date: October, 1935. Print bears the Watanabe "C" publisher seal indicating an early, original impression. Oban design measures 10.25" x 15". Condition: Excellent color, impression, condition. The publisher seal is slightly rubbed. NOTE: Blue toned Hasui designs are very popular with collectors.
