Description : Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) Kosendani in Echigo Mansion, Kagekado (Tsuki hyakushi: Yamaki yakata no tsuki-Kagekado) view of snow piled high on small street; dated Showa 16, with Watanabe red rectangular ('gift') seal at lower left corner Year: 1941 Good impression, a small vertical crease at the lower left corner during printing; excellent color; a little creasing in sky, otherwise very good condition. It should be noted that "Seal H", the so-called "gift seal", was occaisonally used by Watanabe for private publications, gift prints, artist proofs, and for prints of less than excellent quality. Dimensions: 38.7 by 26.1 cm
