Description : "Tsuki Hyakushi; Haso no Tsuki" (One Hundred Aspects of the Moon; The Moon through a Crumbling Window). No. 30. Bodhidharma (Japanese: Daruma) sat for meditation for nine years. During that time, the walls around him crumbled and the nature took over the ruins. He introduced Chan (Japanese: Zen) Buddhism to China. The moon (circle) also represents emptiness, the central quality of enlightenment.
