Description : Woodblock print, yoko tate-e. Scene from the production of Soho Tsukushi no iezuto at the Kawarazaki theater in the seventh month of Kaei 1 (1848), showing the actors Sawamura Sojuro V in a female role as Karukaya Doshin and Genpei as Ishido-maru tugging at her hem.
