Description : "Seichu Gishi Den" (Stories of Faithful Samurai). Kato Norikane, one of 47 Ronin. This series in which Kuniyoshi captured the lively and flowing movements of the heroes inspired many 47 Ronin series with similar formats by different artists. The second edition of this design was printed with the different family name as well as the name on the garment and the text on the top.
