Description : Woodblock diptych print, oban tate-e. Act 3 of the kabuki play 'Kanadehon Chushingura'. The kabuki actor Arashi Kichisaburo as Enya Hangan Takasada (left) being restrained by his retainers after his attack on Ichikawa Kuzo as Ko no Morono (right), who holds his hand to his forehead as he is supported by two attendants.
