Description : Woodblock print, oban tate-e. The actor Ichikawa Ebizo V (right) as Inuyama Dosetsu with long curly hair, an elaborate robe, and a drawn sword, holding Inugawa Sosuke’s purse in his mouth; Ichikawa Kuzo II (left) as Inugawa Sosuke subduing one's of Dosetsu's vassals, and holding a cord attached to his purse in Dosetsu's mouth. Poems inscribed above.
