Description : Genji Series: Chapter # 5 Artist: Kunisada Format: Oban yoko-e: 9.5" x 13.75" Subject: A small boy watches the flight of two house sparrows while two bijin look on. Publisher: Izumiya Ichibei (Senichi) Date: 1852 Condition: Fine colors. A little trimmed on margins. Vertical centre fold with paper separation at top and base reinforced on verso. A repaired tear (approx. 1.5 inches) in title cartouche centre. Two water stains in bottom right corner. Generally fair state. Impression: Fine deluxe impression with lacquer.
