Description : Monday, 1 August 2005 Triptych: Travelling in Edo Style Artist: Kunisada Format: Oban triptych: each sheet 14" x 10" approx Subject: An Imperial kago containing a Princess being ferried by porters across a lake at the foot of Mount Fuji. Her retinue surrounding her are carried on small platforms and on the backs of poerters, according to their rank. Publisher: Ebisuya Shoshichi Date: c.1840's Condition: All full size. Japanese album backing paper. Each with an album fold (vertical) in left margin. Minor marks and flaws. Generally fine state. Colour: Fine Impression: Superb impression as is usual with this publisher.
