Description : The Priest Artist: Kunisada Format: Oban yoko-e: 9.75" x 14.25" Subject: A priest kneeling in a rocky shrine looks down on five actors beside a waterfall. Date: c. 1850 Condition: Good colors. Strong vertical centrefold with paper losses at top and base. Overall wear and small creases. Tapes along top edge on verso. Fair state of preservation. Impression: Very good impression with gauffrage.
