Description : Tuesday, 13 September 2005 Pillar Print: Courtesan and Attendant Artist: Kiyonaga Format: Hashira-e (Pillar Print): 27" x 4.5" approx Subject: A courtesan with her young kamuro on parade on New Year's Day under a shimekazari. Date: 1784 Condition: Very slightly trimmed (but less so than other illustrated examples). Horizontal fold (clean). Overall light wear. Several small thinned areas with a small adjacent holes.
