Description : Print shows a confrontation between a court official and a lesser official with his wife standing nearby, following an offense by the court official; this sets the stage, in later acts, for the lesser official's ritual suicide and the revenge of the 47 rōnin (samurai who revenge their master's death by killing the court official).
