Plain paperboard slipcase with blue titles. Many illustrations and black-and-white photos. Twelve colour prints by Hasui Kawase in pristine condition, reproduced by Watanabe. Pp.127. Shinto And Its Architecture By Aisaburo Akiyama Original coloured paper over soft boards showing a portion of a Shinto Torii and cherry blossoms on the front and rear boards. A total of 126 numbered pages with a preface and dedication. There are twelve tipped-in woodblock illustrations by Kawase Hasui and as well as black and white illustrations of Shinto Shrines. The book is divided into two parts . The first is titled Shinto, which is a description and history of the Shinto religion. Part II is titled Shinto Architecture and discusses the various Shinto Shrine architectural styles.
