Description: This is an original oban size, shin hanga Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui (1883-1957) titled “Rain on Lake Matsue”, dated Showa 7 (1932), signed/sealed in the image by the artist, titled and dated in kanji along the left margin. The print was published by Watanabe Shozaburo, and bears the Watanabe 6mm seal (1945-1957) which makes this print a lifetime edition (printed during Hasui’s lifetime).
