Description: This original woodblock print by Kawase Hasui (1883 – 1957) is titled “Nara” in the lower left margin. It measures 15″ by 10 1/4″ and is pencil signed “Hasui Kawase” in the lower right. This print is in very good condition with no stains, tears or repairs but does have minor toning and is tacked down along the top margin to a heavy paper backing. This beautiful and hard to find Hasui block print has good impression, vivid colors and excellent bleed through.
