Description: “Kojaku Grotto at Oga Peninsula”, an unusual Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui from 1926! This is an original early edition print which bears the Watanabe “A” seal (1924-28) in the lower right margin. The print is in good condition overall with strong blue colors in the water. The red cliffs may be slightly faded. The print has some light staining and spotting in the margins. It is unmounted and is oban size, about 10 x 15 inches. It is from Hasui’s 3rd Souvenirs of Travels series.
