Description: Monday, 25 April 2005 This block print was found in an original envelope from publisher S. Watanabe, Ginza, Tokyo. The envelope was safely stored flat in a portfolio and I will be auctioning the Watanabe envelopes too. Circa 1920’s or 30’s or earlier? And in Near mint condition. Hopefully a close-up of the artists signature will help you identify him. This wood block print measures 4 15/16″ x 7 3/8″ and total size including paper it’s glued on is 6 13/16″ x 9 1/4″. This print is glued to under sheet along top.
