Description: 1930 Great Buddha at Kamakura by Hasui This is an original, prewar (1930) Japanese woodblock print by Kawase Hasui. This edition bears the Watanabe “C” seal in the lower right margin. The print is entitled Great Buddha at Kamakura. The image size is approximately 14 3/8 x 9 3/8 and the paper size is approximately 15 1/4 x 10 1/2 . There is a binding/pin hole in the upper left margin, otherwise the print is in very good condition with beautiful color and impression. (note: the orange color tinge is due to the digital image; the paper color is closer to that depicted in the bottom image showing the seals.)
