Description : Image area is 41 x 98cm. Includes original artist signed and sealed scroll box. A "koma" is a young pony. The "Spring Horse" dance is a custom where a young entertainer holding a hobby horse dance prop makes the rounds of the neighbourhood during the lunar New Year, dancing to the tune of a drum and shamisen. This dance is also performed by geisha and maiko to entertain their customers, as depicted in this scroll. This item is from my personal collection and is not for sale.
