Description : A LOVELY WOODBLOCK PRINT BY TSUCHIYA KOITSU ( 1870-1949), ENTITLED " TEA SHOP AT UENO KIYOMIZU ". A wonderful evening scene of a lady walking into a japanese tea shop. You can see all the tea utensils and the tea kettle steaming away under the soft glow of the hanging lanterns above. This piece has the DOI ROUND WATERMARK IN THE UPPER LEFT HAND CORNER. Bearing the seal of the PRINTER HARADA YOKOI, THE DOI HANGATEN PUBLISHER SEAL, AND THE CARVER- HARADA-ITO #1. This piece appears to be afixed to another board behind it. EXELLENT CONDITION and measures 15 1/8 inches long by 10 1/2 inches wide.
