Watanabe Reference No: Hotei #368 Size: 10-1/2 x 15-3/4 ” Condition: Very fine. Notes: SOLD AS A COMPLETE SET OF SIX PRINTS. This set of six prints was commissioned by the Iwasaki family and published by Watanabe Shozaburo in 1935. The title of the series is blind-stamped embossed in the bottom margin of each print (not noted in Hotei). The villa was converted into the Hotel de Yama before WWII, and the six prints were sold in a portfolio to its foreign clientele. Prints from this series are seldom offered, and complete sets in very fine condition are SCARCE. (See items #6783-6779 for the other five prints in the series)
