Description: This print by Hasui is titled “Snow at Shinkawabata, Handa, Bishu” (“O_Handa Shinkawabata”), and was originally carved and printed in 1935. This is a later edition, printed directly off of Hasui’s original blocks. Superbly executed “bokashi” shading throughout. Print is in excellent condition. Image size is 9 1/2 x 14 1/4 inches, plus margins. (#JS-1605) This fine Hasui print is one of five images recently re-issued by Watanabe Publisher.
