The luminous glow of the lanterns on the buildings and the pedestrians in traditional clothing are classic Hasui touches, beautiful. This image was one of the Hasui prints from the 1936 Toledo Museum of Art show- a groundbreaking show of contemporary Japanese prints in the USA.
