Description: A boy is holding a snapper fish-shaped object on a cart. Red snapper is considered auspicious in Japan. One of the “Seven Good Luck Gods,” Ebisu is always portrayed with a snapper in his left hand. He is a deity of prosperity in business. The doll might be fashioned after Ebisu’s well-known image.
